Lillian was invited to a Valentine's Day party where she had to bring eight Valentines. They would have been even cuter if I'd glued googly eyes on the sucker but I was fresh out of google eyes.

Those are some of the cutest valentine cards that I have ever seen. Love that idea ... and it even looks easy enough that I, the craft-challenged one, could do it!
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was feeling accomplished that I had a snickers bar taped onto Harry Potter Valentines and that my children actually spelled their own names correctly...
ReplyDeleteSigh.
;)
What! You don't keep a full stock of all the possible craft supplies your children might need?
ReplyDeleteI'm constantly amazed at the "Easy Craft" ideas in magazines. Yeah, they're easy if you live in the craft store!!
Okay, I'm done. Deep breath.
Goodness, those are the cutest Valentine's I have ever seen...
ReplyDeleteI think that's a very cute idea. I agree with Ordinary Mom - the best part is that anyone could make those.

ReplyDeleteVery cute and what a sweet idea to have a Valentines party at home! With only 8 to make you can be extra creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see you making homemade valentines. We still do something handmade every year but I think it's a dying art. It is a lot of work when your kid is in a class of 35 so I guess I understand the storebought cards. But still, it's a nice old tradition to give them a personal touch.
ReplyDeleteOh. Those are so cute. My kids love making their own Valentine cards. They would LOVE this.
ReplyDeleteAw, those are adorable! What a great idea! :)
