I remember when I was a kid, the shopping centers would get mountains like these . . .we LOVED THEM! They seemed HUGE to us then, I have since gone back and seen that MN must not be getting as much snow as it once did. ;-)

We're getting a big snowstorm as we speak (or I should say as I type this). I don't think it will come to that height, but I have had my car buried in snow before, up in New England.

That's a lot of snow! I'm very happy we've only had one snowstorm in Munich and that it all melted quickly, since snow is cold!

Oh Thats a familiar scene here in NY as well. the piles get so high, there is no where else to put the stuff. We have another snow day today, and its still falling.

I've seen a lot of piles like that lately. You can make great igloos out of those; just pour water over the outside first, to strengthen it.

We're such wuss here in Mass. The weather man predicted a Nor'easter and schools were canceled but we got about 2 inches of snow this morning.

I remember those snow piles. They were the best to play in as a kid. Of course by April they were so dirty and tightly packed that no one wanted to play in them. Ah, the memories!

Well, I can top that...we have 6 12 foot high snow piles in the front yards of the apartments surrounding our Townhouses here in Michigan! I will try and get a picture to show you...it's insane!
