Gourmet Garden has a line of bottled herbs and spices that will shave time off your meal preparation time for about $3 a bottle.
Parsley, dill, lemon grass, ginger, cilantro--it may not be quite as good as freshly chopped but my children can't tell the difference and sometimes saving a few minutes is worth tiny sacrifice in flavor.

I use the same brand particularly the minced chilli ~ it's a lifesaver!
Ok, I have been wondering how these work. I get my garlic, basil and parsley frozen in cubes at Trader Joes, but would LOVE to have an easier way to have ginger on hand. WFMW is great just for the product reviews!
they make it with ginger!??
i am so buying some. i always seem to be running out of ginger. or i go to use it and its all mushy and gross.
thanks! i love your recipes and kitchen tips!!
I have the ginger tube in my freezer!
This is great! I have an herb garden but, cilantro is the toughest to keep alive - so I will stock up on this product.
I've gotta see if they sell this around here. Fresh-chopped is fine but I need something for when I'm out or when I'm in a hurry.
Great tip, thanks!
Have a great Wednesday.

OOh i have never seen these, they look awesome.. i am going to have to try to find these things now
What a great idea! My cilantro wilts so fast. Thanks!
Yum! I use lots of spices, but in store bought jars. I have a jar of ginger which I use quite frequently, but I love that combo! I'll be trying this.
I have never heard of such a thing! This would be great for some herbs, especially ginger and cilantro.
So, it's like a paste? Huh. Is it better than dried herbs?
I'm glad someone has tried this and can vouch for its usability -- seen it at the grocery but had my doubts. Now I need to get some! Thanks.
This is wonderful! I didn't know this existed, and I am constantly throwing away my cilantro for not using it up quickly enough because the grocery store sells it in such huge bunches
I didn't know that they even made these. Thanks for sharing that- I will have to look for those!
Thanks for the link! Those look really handy.
Hi
This is too cool. This stuff is made not far from where I live. Guess where? Australia.
And I'm reading about it on a blog from Alaska. It's a small world, as they say.
Love your blog.
