9. Eating the cinnamon rolls I'm smelling right now. MmmMMM!
8. Andrew coming home from work in 9 hours--okay so he hasn't left for work yet, but I'm already anticipating his return.
7. Seeing my dendrobium bloom--every time it grows a spike it gets mysteriously broken off! No one seems to ever know anything. Grrr! I've got one coming now and I'm guarding it with my life.
6. Seeing The Lakehouse I missed it in theaters and I heard it's good. Andrew's skeptical. What's not to like? Sandra Bullock, Keanu Reeves, popcorn, true love and great architecture.
5. Not having to mow all winter. And don't tell me I'll just have to shovel because I've got that covered. Spencer and David did it all last winter . . . but I'm not quite ready to turn a 9 year-old loose with a mower.
4. Owning a car with power locks and windows. Or a sun roof. Sigh. I'm a sucker for a sun roof.
3. Reading the seventh Harry Potter book--I hear Dumbledore turns up living in a Hawaiian commune.
2. Our weekend trip to Homer in October where Lillian will get "her very own pink bedroom" and I will get a beach, a hot tub, and a sunset, all for an off-season rate.
1. Our Carribbean cruise--first trip without kids in 12.5 years. See that ship? One of those windows is mine. Sun, relaxation and all the food I can eat! I'm saving up calories already.
