Our dinner conversation is so informative:
We're passing around the spaghetti when David asks, "Mom, when will Aunt Carinne have her baby?"
"In March."
He paused then continued, "What about Aunt Rebecca?"
"December."
Thinking some more he asked, "Well is Aunt Becca going to have a baby too then?"
"Not that I know of."
"Well why not?"
Not wanting to go into the 101 reasons, both biological and emotional, why someone isn't pregnant and mentally noting that maybe it's time to start clueing David in on a few things I preferred the tried and true ambiguous route by saying, "Well, I guess Heavenly Father hasn't sent her one yet."
Spencer, who has a clearer idea of those 101 reasons alluded to and never misses a chance to help out his younger brother, grinned slyly while dishing up more spaghetti and said, "Yea, but what happens if He runs out?"

So cute! Reminds me my little brother used to say he was going to be born first, but found his way through the birth canal, then came back and told me how to get out because "ladies first."
hahaha fantastic. :) never a dull moment, right? so, did you crack up laughing when he said that, or try to pawn it off like a random comment?? sometimes, with the kids i take care of back home, i can't help but burst into laughter. :)

Very funny. What was your reaction to that? I would have laughed out loud.
At least one of them didn't ask a non-pregnant when her baby was coming out. That has happened to me twice. And they weren't children, they were ADULT WOMEN. I told them I'm just fat.
That is pretty cute...
Love it! Ahh the wisdom of the young. :)
I love a good sense of humor...especially in the little people!
You have quite the joker on your hands. This should keep family dinners interesting.
How funny! And what was your response?
I love it! Children have such a wonderful sense of logic!
