Today I get the pleasure of introducing you to a fellow Alaskan, Kristin who runs the brand-new-fresh-from-the-wrapper shop called Outside the Box.
Necklaces, earrings and bracelets--it's all here and if you like sparklies this is the place for you. You haven't seen so many crystals and shine in one place I'd wager.
My personal favorites are the silver bracelet using stamped Hill Tribe silver (which according to the description is even more pure than sterling--what do you know? Learn something new every day) and the "Orange You Glad" orange and sterling bracelet which makes me suddenly wish I had more orange in my wardrobe.
But I'm saving the best for last. I'm not going to show a picture of this because I want you to go look for yourself but the pendant made from a 1 and 1/4-inch oval fire agate is wildly beautiful--I've never seen a stone like that and it's just gorgeous. No wait, make that caps--it's GORGEOUS! (And you know, it's really a great price too). And I do have plenty of pink in my wardrobe . . .
Thanks to Kristin's generosity I have a beautiful swavroski crystal bracelet pictured at left for one lucky contestant this weekend (check out the clasp--I love that little swirly action it's got going there).
So follow the instructions below and good luck!
Here's how to win:
Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.
This is open to all readers--good luck!

Beautiful jewelry and I can say the same about the blog. A dear friend of mine wrote the book "Nature's State" about the construction of Alaska as the 'last American frontier.' She grew up there and got her doctorate in English with a focus on western narratives, translating all that to Alaska. Anyway. The academic in me had to say that. The mama in me (to three) who lives frugally too, says hi.
Love the bracelet!
Nice looking bracelet!
