Zoobies and Kids Fun Cards Giveaway

Hada the Hippo from ZoobiesMust be the thoughts of school in the air but I've got a string of great kid products to tell you about. Fun things such as Zoobies--the cutest stuffed toy I've ever seen. Am I prepared to back up such an assertion? Why yes I am!

Because not only can you get a notion of the cuteness involved by glancing at the pink hippo to the right but when I tell you that you can unzip her tummy and pull out a soft, fleecy blanket you're going to go mushy.

Each of the 16 Zoobie creatures come soft and plushy with their own matching blanket stored inside. I was sent Kojo the Croc as a sample and not only does it feel like a good quality stuffed animal of the most huggable kind, he can spread out his legs to form a soft, cushy croc pillow or unzip into a fun and warm crocodile blanket.

Brilliant! Perfect for cuddling and I can see children using the zippered pouch to hide their tiny treasures as well.

Khimba the Koala from ZoobiesIf you pressed me to pick my favorite though that would be difficult as they're all adorable but I think I'm partial to Ellema the Elephant, Khimba the Koala (the first Zoobie to come with a tiny baby) and Orazio the Orangutan but leave it to my boys to get cheeky.

Spencer and David wanted to know if they could suggest animals for the next collection--perhaps a cockroach, snake and dung beetle? Because what child wouldn't want to cuddle up with their very own stuffed dung beetle? I think I'll stick with Hada the Hippo there.

Kids Fun CardsBut if that wasn't enough for you here are Kids Fun Cards, another creative "why didn't I think of that?" product. Kids Fun Cards are themed postcards designed to be slipped into lunchboxes, backpacks or under pillows as little love notes with a fun twist.

Each of the cards has a fun fact, riddle or tidbit that kids will love as much as the personalized note you might leave on the back. I used to do this with my own kids' lunches--I wrote corny jokes, puzzles or sports trivia on 3 X 5 cards to put into the kids' lunch bags and they always looked forward to getting a note with their meal. Kids Fun Cards uses the same idea but with cute illustrations and funny pictures that your kids will love.

While the cards are perfect for lunch boxes I can see them also being good for overnight trips and other times when a little note of comfort comes in handy. Each pack of five comes in a different theme: "Eeew, That's Gross!" "Real Looney Laws," "Mystical Little People," "It's a Wacky World," and "Riddles" designed by Gina Flanagan (an award winning costume illustrator) and Rose Cricchio (formerly of Warner Brothers retail).

So . . . thanks to Zoobies and Kids Fun Cards the first random winner of this week's giveaway will receive their choice of Zoobie animal and the second random winner will receive five packs of Kids Fun Cards--for a total of 25 cards and a month of lunchtime pleasure. Good luck!

Here's how to win:

Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.

This giveaway is open to all readers so good luck!

There is something about secret hidden compartments that just calls to the kid in me, and these stuffed animals fit that bill. I want one for myself!

Hakka the hippo is too cute. Maybe they can have a Kallu the Camel with the blanket in its hump, or a Po the Panda (not the kung fu one) with a co-ordinated black-n-white blanket?
