JaC Jewelry Giveaway

Keishi and Red RIce Pearl Bracelet from JaC JewelryI see a lot of jewelry on the internet, I've done a bit of beading myself but jaC Jewelry has the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen.

I know that may sound excessive but she starts with the loveliest materials to create little works of art captured on a wire or string.

Take the bracelet at the right--made from keshi (or keishi) pearls along with deep red rice pearls it really sets the perfect holiday mood with lustrous white and red that reminds me of holly berries and snowflakes.

What is a keshi pearl? I guess you'd call it a fortunate accident. When pearls are cultured they sometimes develop without a nucleus and when that happens the result is an oddly-shaped, highly lustrous piece of the ocean that is complete nacre--or the substance that mollusks coat the seeds with. Are you with me? They used to be fairly common as a by-product of the culturing process but now they're hard to find and jaC Jewelry used some of her precious store to create this gorgeous bracelet you see above.

But first you really ought to see some of the creations at jaC Jewelry, not only does she come up with some of the most unusual elements but each piece is completely unique and one-of-a-kind. Go see some of her beauties . . .

Survivor Bracelet in Rose Quartz by jaC JewelrySomething Blue in Gold-Vermeil with 24K gold plated leaves and blue freshwater pearls. Simple and elegant.

Snow White Necklace with keshi pearls and a turquoise centerpiece (and oh what a centerpiece).

Peacock Pearl and Rock Crystal Teardrop Set--that blue is incredible and is perfectly paired with the crystal and pearls.

Labradorite Drops and White Coin Pearls Set --it's still a favorite, grey is my favorite neutral.

"Survivor" Bracelet with rose crystal quartz with sterling silver Survivor charm. A wonderful gift for any breast cancer survivor and a touching memento.

With custom silver tags and fine materials each item is not only a quality product but the prices make them perfect for your holiday gifts. Unique AND a great value.

Andrew, if you're reading make a note (and my hints can't get any stronger).

JaC Jewelry is offering the perfect keshi and red rice pearl bracelet pictured above--I think it's my very favorite of all her pieces--as this weekend's giveaway prize. Life doesn't get any better than that! Would it look suspicious if I "drew" my own name? To enter follow the directions below:

Here's how to win:

Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.

This giveaway is open to all readers so good luck!

I completely agree! You introduced me to JAC Jewelery last summer and I bought a special bracelet for a special sister-in-law-to-be, who then wore it at her wedding. It was so beautiful. Thank you for bringing Jana and her art to my attention!

(And, yes, I entered my name for the giveway on the separate entry page.)

I would have been right there with you on your favorite grey bracelet but there is something about that stark white with that vivid red.

More often than not I wear black because I am trying to buy into that entire black is slenderizing concept. It is easier to always wear black with splashes of color than it is to try and lose weight!

Holy moly! I think I'll be giving my husband some strong suggestions that way too. :)
