Strawberry Tarts with Coconut-Macadamia Crusts

Strawberry Tarts with Coconut-Macadamia CrustsThis is an easy, delicious recipe that looks fancier than it is, this is just basically individual fresh strawberry pies and let's be honest, doesn't everything taste better when it's individually served in all its cuteness?

Instead of Nilla wafers don't forget that you can also use graham cracker, cookie or ginger snap crumbs--all with tasty results.

35 Nilla wafers, crushed
1/3 cup macadamia nuts, finely chopped
1/3 cup coconut
1/4 cup melted butter
1 box of raspberry flavored Danish dessert
2 quarts washed, cleaned, sliced fresh strawberries
whipping cream

For the crust mix the first four ingredients and press into greased 9" pie plate or five individual tart pans. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes for a large pie, 10-12 minutes for individual pies. Mix Danish dessert according to the package directions and cooling slightly. Mix in fresh strawberries and spoon into pie crusts. Chill four to six hours and serve with whipped cream.
