This may not be fancy but it has beaten out Pigs in a Blanket as the number one Birthday Breakfast Choice.
1 8-ounce can refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pound pork sausage, cooked and drained
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar
1 cup shredded mozzarella
5 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Unroll the crescent rolls, separating them into 8 triangles. Arrange the triangles like slices of pizza, points toward the center and press into a pizza pan, smoothing the perforations together to make a crust. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes the reduce the oven temperature to 350. Combine eggs, milk, oregano and pepper and beat thoroughly. Scramble the egg mixture in pan then spoon it over the crust along with sausage. Top with the cheeses. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until the crust is golden.

Breakfast....sausage..PIZZA??? YES PLEASE!
Yum, may be dinner tonight.
Slap the word "pizza" on any food and my husband is super happy. This recipe looks easy and delish. Thx.
I make Jeff a sausage bread that is similar. He goes crazy over it every time. Having the words "breakfast" and "pizza" together just make everybody happy.
Thanks for this recipe. We often have brunch parties (because our lids are little it works better than dinner parties). I make a bunch of quiche and casserole. I think I'll feature this next time.
I made this for dinner one night last week and it was a huge hit! My husband suggested if we wanted to go all out and invite a heart attack, we could drizzle it with white gravy. I have to agree! It tasted like a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and I don't think you could go wrong with a little white gravy on the side!!
