Eyeglasses Seem Rather Pointless

"David, have you cleaned your glasses recently?"

"Yea, I cleaned them this morning."

"Really? Are you sure?"

"Yea, any time they get dirty I just lick them."

"Okay. . . "

Ooohhh - I'm the first one to post a comment. I feel so special. Well...that's what happens when you're up late on the internet. I was just going to say that at least David knows where his glasses are. Ethan hasn't seen his since Halloween. "Where are your glasses?" "Duh..I don't know" "When did you see them last?" "Duh...I don't know." "Did you bring them home from school?" "Duh....I don't know." "Did you wear them at school?" "Duh...I think so - maybe." It's actually amazes me that he's had them for a year and a half. Frankly, I excepted this some time ago. Luckily, our insurance pays for a new pair in January. He'll just have to be blind until then.

It's funny, because me husband tells me the same thing. And I shudder EVERY time.

I just lick them. You have me laughing out loud. My wife would plant one on the side of my head if I was to do that. Oh, I don't mean a lick. smile

Heehehe! I was just thinking today how I can never seem to get my glasses clean enough. Maybe I'll have to start licking them, too. ;)

If it works ...

I'll have to tell my father-in-law. My mother-in-law is always giving him hell for the state of his glasses.

I actually broke down and bought a bottle of eyeglasses cleaner spray and one of those special rags a few months ago and I feel like I have new vision. It works so well! Small pleasures...

PS: My dad does that, too. Maybe it's a guy thing?
