Wow, that's awesome. I helped my mom and aunt make applesauce once when I was a kid, and that was a lot of work. (We even picked the apples at a nearby orchard.)

Now, making your own ketchup, *that* was just insanity....

Have to have some pork chops with that. Both of my grandmothers were into canning. Amazing the work that goes into it.

I just had a flashback of collecting small tart apples from the yard of my grandmother's house and making applesauce with her. Such a wonderful memory!
