White Hot Chocolate

This is one of my favorite hot drinks. No, it is my favorite--especially now that you can buy fat free half and half.

3 c fat free half and half
1/2 c chopped white chocolate
3 inch stick cinnamon
1/8 t nutmeg
1 t vanilla
¼ t almond extract

Stir the white chocolate into 1/4 c of the half and half until the chocolate melts, taking care not to burn the mixture. Then add the rest of the half and half, the cinnamon stick and nutmeg and heat it through, stirring well to mix. Stir in the extracts and serve garnished with extra cinnamon stick.

Yummy!

What makes the fat free half & half creamy?

I have one foot out the door right this minute that sounds so good! On another note, the YouTube time delay cracks me up. I took video of my daughter singing and that timing hiccup makes it downright eerie. I wish I knew a 3rd of the presidents your son recites.

Here's how to make delicious chocolate covered strawberries. First of all ensure that the strawberries you are intending to use are dry, then allow them to be room temperature warm prior to making them. After the strawberries have been covered in chocolate, put them in your refrigerator to cool, but do not store them in the fridge. Consume within 1-2 days.

I HAVE to try this! I'm getting married in December in Colorado and I really want to have both regular hot chocolate and white hot chocolate available. Thanks so much for the recipe!
