American Idol + Disney = Lillian

Here's Lillian's demo tape. Sorry it gets blurry--I didn't zoom properly apparently--no matter, it's the sound that's important.

It's not quite so funny when she does it in a confined space such as the car. Talk about deafening.

Do you know what is interesting about this? At what, four years old, this kid already has a vibrato. That is pretty rare. It is also a pretty even, and nice vibrato.

It will be interesting to see how her ear and voice develop.

"clapping, clapping"! How cute is she? What a sweet Little Mermaid. I enjoyed that better than American Idol. I say "She's going to Hollywood"!

THAT...is hilarious. My dad did that once to me (with a tape recorder) when I was 8. I was singing the Bee Gees. I use the word singing VERY loosely. That was the day that I decided singing really wasnt a good career path for me...or the people around me!

Thanks for visiting my site...and I clearly am having flashbacks after visiting you...

Thanks, I think. LOL

PS...she sounds much better than I did by the way!

I agree with Loralee Choate. That is pretty amazing. If she's passionate about it, it'll be interesting to see what happens in the future.

Bravo! Bravo!

American Idol, nothing. I'm thinking, "Hang on, Metropolitan Opera. You've got another Diva in training!"

Too cute!

Yours and mine need to get together and put on a show. I'm impressed she knows the words to that song, btw. I can never remember the words.

My,oh, my. That girl has a great potential! She's got what it takes to be a star =P And she'll take to the limelight, she doesn't seem camera shy!

Bravo! Bravo! Lillian. As someone who knows something about singing I am stunned that she can sing with vibrato! I wasn't able to sing with vibrato till I was in my twenties. I also think it was interesting that when she saw the camera, she kept right on going...obviously a performer at heart! I enjoy catching up on all the kids through your blog!

Great set of pipes! She could go places. At first I was afraid that you would scar her for life, but when she saw the camera and kept going, you'll only scar her for her ~adult~ life.

What a sweetie...tell Hollywood to look out.

I will have to agree though that would be deafening in the close quarters of a car. LOL!

My mother in law is a trained opera singer and she thinks Lillian's got a future but me, I'm just happy to have her not sass me when I tell her it's time for chores. She's a natural performer which isn't necessarily a good thing! :)

She's adorable! My daughter said, "Mom, that little girl is funny!" Very sweet.

encore encore!! I'd vote for her (is that how they decide on American Idol? I have no TV reception and no cable so I only use my set as a dvd/vhs delivery system :) Oh and btw Michelle - of course you get the prize!! you'll have to watch the W&D miniseries when you get done reading it and see what you think. :)

Babystepper has it right, watch out Carnegia Hall and the Met. That's my granddaughter, and I'm the trained opera singer. When I came to Alaska to babysit while A&M went cruising, she blew me away. She can sing higher than I can (now) and I still have a high C. Orders from headquarters.... let the child have fun and forget the voice lessons til she's 16. LOL MOMM XOXOXOXO
