Keep Silk Shiny and New

To help silk retain it's natural lustre and sheen, add one cup vinegar to the water on the final rinse. The fabric comes out shiny and beautiful every time.

Don't worry about the smell, it disappears as the silk dries.

Check in with Rocks in My Dryer every Wednesday for other good tips.

The Carnival of Homeschooling is up at Palm Tree Pundit and the Carnival of Recipes is on at Right Wing Nation and are both worth a peak.

I do the same thing for diapers. See vinegar is good for poop and silk! I put it in a Downy ball.
