The bunny booties and rabbit are cute enough
to deserve a close up.
You can see the impression it made on him. Notice the way the camera captures the action movements of the angry feet--booties were not appreciated. He only wore the outfit once but I caught that one time on camera.

Oh my I can relate with this. The kids have booties knitted by their great-grandnan but I haven't the heart to tell her they get kicked off within minutes....
hahaha awwww, so cute and so funny. babies never want things to remain on their feet. sadly, i've never left that stage of infancy...
Michelle, you are just too darn talented!!
What you knit too! You are supermom!
My son loves looking at that picture of your baby. I don't know why he wants to see a crying baby, but I've promised we'll go back after I comment.
That is about the most adorable outfit I have ever seen.
Wow! That outfit is darling...and yes, the rabbit and booties did deserve a close-up. It's a shame he didn't appreciate fine fashion.
Isn't that the way it always is? I call it the "cardboard box" syndrome (i.e. the free box is much more fascinating than the valued object inside of it).
My kids always adored the "freebie" t-shirts that my friends gave me. They'd balk at the beautiful outfits I'd pay good money for, but the old shirts with the logo peeling? They'd fight to the death for those.
For what it's worth, he looks precious...and I'm amazed that you can knit like that!
I am so impressed. I haven't 'mastered' the knitting arts, though I would love to try.
I love the way he appreciated your hard work too.
Kids.
The bunnies are adorable! Maybe it was just baby gas. :)
That is gorgeous!! I'm very impressed!
That is the cutest little outfit! The photo is priceless, too.
I didn't know you knit! That's excellent. What kind of yarn did you use?
Cute! Cute! Cute! (The outfit, the booties, AND the baby)
oh my goodness that outfit is so cute! To bad he didn't appreciate it. Joshua hated anything on his feet as a baby also but the rest were fine. I have been known to crochet but I haven't done any knitting yet. It has become an expectation in my circle that when a baby is born they will get a homemade blanket from me. I never make them alike though, have to change things around a bit.
That is just adorable, and I am SO impressed that you made it yourself! Love the "full of personality" photo too.
I used whatever wool they called for in the pattern, I can't remember exactly. A wool though, definitely a wool.
Oh that outfit is so darn cute. You are so clever to have made that. I am useless at such things.
Oh that is too cute!
I wish I could knit like that!
I'm getting there.
WOW! That is amazing- you are so crafty! I love those!
That is an awesome outfit! You bowl me over with your knitting ability! I want to learn to knit and my Grandma wants to teach me, but we live 30 minutes apart, so it's hard to find time to get together.
I love the picture! It captures the essence of dressing a baby up all too well!
that is sos tinkin' cute! I secretly love crying baby pictures. :)
eek, sorry for the typos
WOW, michelle! that is thee cutest easter anything i have ever seen. just adorable. thanks for sharing. so, now you also will get to pull this picture out to embarrass him when he brings his future wife to meet the family :)
ps. hope your dad is good and recovered from surgery/recovery now.
ps. i am so psyched! i just figured out how to put pictures and links on a post last night. yeah! i was so pleased and proud, i just kept looking at the output. daughter the younger was not impressed :). she just wanted to use the computer.
happy easter!
I know that was a lot of work, but he's not having any of it in that photo, is he. He's like Ralphie in A Christmas Story when he was made to put on the bunny suit his aunt made him. Great work on your part though!
Ooooo! This is adorable!
My family's pet name for me is, 'Bunny Rabbit' or 'Bun Rab' for short.
Have a blessed Easter!
I have to buy that book for the bunny pattern!
So cute!
oh. my. gosh is that the cutest thing i have ever seen in my life. That's talent, girl! What a cute outfit!!! I'm dying!!
Too cute! You can save it for your first grandbaby!
My Mom knit a bunch of amazing booties for my daughter which she never wore because her feet were too large for them at birth!
oh my!!! I (heart) that set!! Too cute! Don't you love it when you kids do not like something you labour over????
I am laughing so hard over here, and I don't know if it's because of the look on his face, your comments about the look on his face, or the cuteness of the outfit you made! (You made!)
Oh, goodness! What a sweet little outfit. I knit a DB bear outfit for a very young friend--and she had exactly the same reaction!
So amazing and adorable!!
