How many of you remember Shrinky Dinks? The sheets of plastic you could decorate, heat and shrink? I loved those and when I saw Jewelry by Jessica I couldn't help but think of those (they were my favorite you know). She's taken plastic and elevated it to an art form.
Each of her necklaces and earrings are plastic with simple, dramatic designs that are contemporary and elegant.
Most of her designs come in one or two layers, with geometric or natural designs, and the pendants come on 17-inch leather cords. The necklace you see pictured above is plastic but it appears to be backed with something resembling handmade paper (though I'm not sure) and the effect is really lovely. How lovely? Well if you'd like to see for yourself you could go to her website here to get your own or you could enter today's giveaway and test your luck because I have an Olive Branch pendant identical to what you see pictured to give away courtesy of Jessica herself.
Here's how to win:
Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.
This giveaway is open to anyone. Good luck!

fun! We used to do Shrinky Dinks long ago. We would turn on the oven light and watch them through the oven's small window as they did the shrinking act.
I loved shrinky dinks as a teen. They are coming back and were being used in scrapbooking not too long ago.
You said shrinky dinks and I thought, Hmmm, doesn't sound too pretty. But that necklace is really cute!
Ok, I do this every week, but this is something I really hope to win. If not may just have to buy. It's beautiful and something I definitely would wear. Can I enter more than once? Just kidding.
I am getting ready to do a post about Shrinky Dinks! I just need to get some more pics for it.

Oh to be so talented...I am afraid I would only "burn" the necklace and my pour family would have to live under the smell of flaming plastic...the necklace is so cute and not burnt...love it!

I remember having to get our Mom to cut the shrinky dinks since we were not allowed to touch the sharp scissors!! I bought some for my daughter a few years ago, and she wasn't as nearly excited as I had been about it!
It is a very cute necklace and I would be thrilled to win it.
