Purple Petunia Saturday Giveaway

Hedgie Cup at Purple PetuniaThe ceramics and tiny felt creations at Purple Petunia feel like they've stepped right out of a Beatrix Potter tale--tiny bunnies and chubby hedgehogs hiding around corners and waiting under leaves until you expect Peter Rabbit to come hopping through at any moment.

Bird Family at Purple PetuniaThere are adorable felted pumpkins, foxes and raccoons that are so tiny you can't help but wonder how someone was able to manipulate a needle to create them. There are miniature ceramic hedgehogs and ducks the size of thimbles that would be perfectly at home in my fairy garden. And speaking of fairies, you'll have to see the tiny fairy flower with her bunny buddy that would be latest treasure for any little girl.

Leaf Mug from Purple PetuniaBut I'm saving the best for last, my favorite items at Purple Petunia are the mugs. The leaf tea cup that Beatrix herself would use for her afternoon tea has a beautiful green speckled glaze and the "hedgies" are are a gorgeous shade of periwinkle with a tiny surprise waiting for you in the bottom--a wee hedgehog or hedgie staring up at you when you've finished your hot chocolate.

Purple Petunia has been busily firing and glazing and has generously offered a genuine, adorable hedgie mug as today's Saturday Giveaway. Life doesn't get any cuter.

Here's how to win:

Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.

I'm sorry but this giveaway is only open to those with a United States' mailing address. Good luck!

Woo Hoo, first to comment! I want those little ducks like you wouldn't believe. Hmmmm, maybe Mrs. Claus should buy them for my stocking.

These Etsy artisans remind me I want to give them my business this holiday over the large chain store down the street. I love the Internet!

Wow...I haven't been in here for weeks. What happened to your old design? I miss it!! I know it's still you writing, but I liked the old design better. It was far more readable. Sorry. Mercy N. (lurker)

Thanks for the two cents, Mercy, I appreciate the honesty--I was looking for a change, one that wasn't so clunky and boxy. This one breaks out of the Blogger boxes and gives me my own logo which I love. It's like rearranging your living room furniture, sometimes you need a change.
