I am white with snow envy:) I built a anow fort (though not as nice) when we had one very long cold snap and lots of snow when I was in 10th grade. My older kids had an opportunity to build a fort about 10 years ago. I am hoping my younger ones will get the chance before they are too old to want to.
Ahh, yes, those are the kind of forts we dream of down here. The best we ever got here in Oklahoma was a sort of muddy pile behind which to cower. In Colorado the snow was too dry.
Your boys just need their own flag and they could declare themselves separate and wage war on neighboring countries. =)
too funny! The kids built a snow fort last weekend but it caved in on them the next morning before I could get a pic. I guess they need more experience.

Now that's a fort I'd be proud to defend!
Theirs is made with snow. Here in Texas, my grandchildren madee one with rock, Guess you just have to use the materials at hand :)

LOVE that photo!
We talk to our kids about Alaska a lot because they have an aunt who lives there; they're crazy to visit since they saw your picture.
Wonderful picture. Brings backs so many memories!
Wow, they did a great job! :)
Cute kids....but what's all that white stuff?

I am so jealous! It was actually eighty degrees here last week.
Cute picture. :)
How totally fun.
I remember making forts like that as well, on the rare snow days we got in northern Texas.
That is one thing we miss at the coast....snow and winter fun.
Man, I sure mis those days! I loved making forts and snow pizzas and snow men. We're buried here right now, but it's too cold to build with snow!
