Rick Rack Attack Giveaway

Vintage Aprons by Rick Rack AttackRick Rack Attack is a store that sells vintage aprons but not just any old aprons made from vintage-style patterns and vintage-style fabric but real, honest-to-goodness aprons like the ones my Grandmother has worn for sixty years. She has no idea how chic she's become because aprons are the latest post-feminist domestic craze as women suddenly realize that kitchen fashion is too cute to miss out on.

Picture the holidays wearing this cute little festive number to the right here or even an upscale hostess apron that will wow them more than the h'ors d'oeuvres.

Vintage Aprons by Rick Rack AttackMy mother had a pink gingham apron just like this one on the left, "Cotton Candy"--I wonder where that apron went? Suddenly I have a strong urge to wear it.

Vintage Inspired Aprons by Rick Rack AttackBesides these gorgeous pieces of Americana Rick Rack Attack also sells vintage inspired aprons by Jessie Steele and I have to say "steal" is right. Starting at $15 it's a perfect item for your Christmas gift list--just check out this adorable child's "Cupcakes" Apron for the little hostess on your list.

The genius of the shop is that Rick Rack Attack makes their Vintage Inspired Aprons in child and adult sizes so you can get matching mommy-and-me aprons with girly frills or matching daddy-and-me aprons for a manly barbecue moment. Isn't that a hoot? Wrap a set of matching camo aprons for the big and little man in your life with some high powered, atomic lighter fluid and you've got yourself a gift that will light their smiles.

(And you know I'm kidding right? No one's going to go out and give their five year-old a bottle of lighter fluid in their stocking then come back to complain when he's burned the house down? Just so we're clear here).

Anyway, on to the prize. Rick Rack Attack has been so kind as to offer this weekend's winner their choice of mom-and-me aprons or a set of dad-and-son aprons, either one. Way to get your shopping off to a great start! To enter the contest just follow the instructions below--please be sure to click on the giveaway form link rather than leaving your email in the comments otherwise your entry won't get included in the pot. Wouldn't want that to happen!

Here's how to win:

Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.

This giveaway is open to readers with a U.S. address so good luck!

***

And if you're looking for another contest, scroll down to Tuesday's post to get your name into the pot for our "When Will It Snow?" pool. No snow yet and my guess is that we'll be closer into November so there are plenty of dates still left to pick. A couple years we almost made it to Christmas before the stuff came along, you just never know . . .

Plus there's a shiny new Write-Away Contest topic for the month if you want your shot at a coupon from The Company Store--scroll down for those details as well.

Aren't Lisa's aprons the greatest? The ones you picked for your post look like they were in my grandma's stash. I could picture her wearing them. I still have one of her old gingham ones.

LOve that poinsettia apron..wow!

I got my love of aprons from my Grandmother. I still wear them, and so do my kids.. (ok, once in a while, they wear theirs!) Mostly if they are being 'the cook' !

These are just too cute. Brings me back to a time when I was a little girl and every time I walked into my grandmothers house, she would be in the kitchen baking some kind of yummy sweets and a smudge of flour on her cheek haha. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, those look exactly like my grandmother's aprons! Especially the Christmas one. Bringing back a lot of fond memories.

Cute aprons, though I'm not in line to get one, as I have no US address. Anyway, i have a horrible habit of wiping my hands on the sides of my dress while cooking. This has resulted in making most of my housedresses looking really grubby! Maybe will take a cue and go out and buy and apron!

I saw all these referrals from scribbit in my stat analyzer and wondered what was going on. Then I noticed you have a site of the week feature and I'm on it. That's so nice of you! Thanks!
