And More Terrariums . . .

I warned you that I'm filling every glass container in the house with plants--here's a Mason jar we filled with moss to make a pretty little country landscape.

Complete with a cottage. Probably made of cottage cheese (or maybe polymer clay).

I'm afraid that's all I have for you today. Things have been very busy here lately . . . for all of us . . . important stuff like lemonade stands (or "lemonad" stands as Lillian's sign advertises). No it's not a typo at all but a marketing ploy to sound more European so she can charge more.

Or busy making tennis ball canons with my son or hanging out my laundry on the line or reading cheap thrillers which I've very much been in the mood for lately. Or getting ready for our kayaking trip next week. It's summer time and the livin' is easy . . .

Congratulations to Trish at Acworth, Georgia for winning this weekend's Aqua Sphere swim gear giveaway. That's going to be one fun package!

Funny, when I read "lemonad" I thought it sounded very European. Good for Lillian! Glad you're enjoying your summer.

How cute is that! I'm thinking of doing terrariums as a science home school project for my son...can you recommend any good websites about how to start/make terrariums? Thanks!

We've been busy around here running errands before our own family vacation.

By the way, cute terrarium. :-D

This is really cute- what a great idea! I have so many glass containers laying around waiting to be filled. This is a great way to have them laying around with something in them!

Looks Nice! Have you thought about a real terrarium, in a fish tank?

Beautiful terrariums. We made some earlier this month, but had fits finding plants. I ended up getting cuttings from various succulents at my grandma's house.

How cute is that cottage! You are so darn crafty and I'm jealous. Enjoy your summer - winter will be back too soon.

Oh, the memories - La Petite had a lemonade stand when she was young and we lived alongside Lambeau Field. She made $$$!!

It IS summer time, and I'm loving it. I'm loving not really having anything to say on the blog because I'm too busy doing other stuff. It's a refreshing feeling. :)

And terrariums rock. :)

(maybe you should do one with pretty rocks. :))

Winner Creek trail on this gorgeous day. Thanks for your posting about that. Will be hanging out clothes before we take off. Thought I was the only one in ANC who still did that. When the neighbors moved in a few years ago they asked if we didn't have a dryer - in a tone of compassion. Bless their hearts...

Sounds like you're doing just what needs to be done in the summer!

I am going to do this idea today! I love it!

Do you have a link to the tennis ball canon? The only ones I found online looked dangerous!
