Sun, Sun, Sun Here It Comes

I have been very much into terrariums lately. If it's glass and it's in my house, odds are it has a plant in it.

This tea cup pouring out an ivy is hanging in my kitchen window where I can see it and think happy thoughts about summer in Alaska.

Love this!
I used little cupcake toppers I found on etsy to add a little flair to my terrariums. A little gnome here, a mushroom there :)

That's really lovely and unique!

Really cute idea! What other glass objects are you using... and with what plants? Though, truth be told, I love ivy so this one would do me just fine.

I love that idea!

Did you just use a regular glass teacup or did you find a really awesome planter.

That is just too sweet!

Simply brilliant. Must copy! Wonder if the kids will leave it alone. Maybe I should try plastic first. Effect not the same. DANG.

Oh, and here in Massachusetts, we don't have any sun any more. It left town.

Now if it would just stop raining I could do this. NJ is on day 26 of non stop rain.

Love it! And what an appropriate post title for us here in New England. It's been raining non-stop for weeks and we're finally (finally!) seeing some sun!!

Beautiful pic. I had a nice green house plant in a light yellow teapot growing for the longest time, then the teapot cracked and i had to replant it in something else. Love unusual plant pots & places to hang/put them.

That's such a great idea! We're into succulents right now and looking for fun glass to put them in. I like the idea of just a tea cup, though you don't get the spillage effect with the stuff we're growing...

I love it! Now, do I have a window to hang one where the cats can't get to it??

What a simple and lovely idea. I could do that all year 'round here where I live. My apt, gasp!, has an artifical ficus left by the owner. Why have artificial plants in Honduras? Ficus grow here naturally to heights of 25 and 30 feet. Of course my ceilings would inhibit THAT kind of growth.
