At least until the weekend. As of now I'm officially incommunicado.As you read this I'll be somewhere in the wilds of Alaska hiking and camping and kayaking and enjoying my 39th birthday covered in bug spray.
No really, it'll be fun.
Actually, all sarcasm aside, I do think it'll be fun--the weather has been great and I've got all my gear. (The key to happiness is layers, my friends, and layers I have got.)
A wicking layer, a layer for warmth and a layer for wind/rain protection. I'm so well protected I could stop a bullet. Or at least a raindrop.
You'll hear from me when I get back, complete with pictures. As for now, I've got a few here-and-there posts lined up for the week and then you're always free to browse the archives. Here are a few of the places outdoor adventures I've mentioned:

Enjoy yourself!! Wear lots of bug dope and try to relax by a few streams or rivers. Be careful! We just flew to Talkeetna for camping, so I need to blog about it. Talkeetna is wonderful!!
