Timberland PRO Renova Giveaway

Timberland PRO Renova Series title=Before I was contacted last month by Timberland to do a review of their shoes I'll admit I was a fan. My husband and I both have owned pairs and not only are they comfortable and good for work and play but they are shoes that will last longer than you will. For many years we've worn Timberlands as we've camped and hiked our way across this great state.

In fact I had a pair of sturdy maroon loafers that I wore so much I finally dissolved the sole and had to get them resoled because they still looked so good and were that comfortable. Then--I think it was at about the seven year mark--I wore out the lacing stitches on the toe and replaced it myself and got another several years of wear out of them. Great pair of shoes. We had some good times, those shoes and I.

Anyway, Timberland asked if I'd try a pair from their PRO Reneva series and I said "I'm your gal." They sent me a complimentary pair like the one you see above and they're terrific. I have particularly high arches and this shoe has a nice, high arch that feels so comfortable I'm tempted to wear them to bed. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating that part a little but I do love the high arch and every indication is that this pair is as well-made and comfortable as the other pairs we've had. Even Andrew was kind of excited to see them on my feet--he's kind of a Timberland groupie.

Timberland Pro Renova SeriesTheir PRO Renova series is designed for people on their feet and they have a whole page of styles to choose from (check out the cute Mary Janes that are on sale). This weekend's winner will get to pick their favorite pair from the Timberland PRO Renova series and will receive it, along with this cute little bag you see below in 100% recycled PET (and I had to look that up, it stands for polyethylene terephthalate. Not pets. Have no fear, no bunnies or kittens were harmed in the making of this bag.)

So do you have a pair of shoes you've lived with forever? A pair that's stood the test of time? Give your best reason why you need a pair like this and then follow the directions below to get your name in the running for the prize. Good luck!

Here's how to win:

Before 12 am Monday morning go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.

This giveaway is open to all readers! Good luck!

Well, to tell the truth, I don't need a pair of shoes like these. It would actually be a gift for my mom, who is still on her feet all day. :-D

(In reference to your comment about wearing the shoes to bed) When I was a kid and got brand new shoes, I would beg my mom to let me wear them to bed. If she wouldn't let me wear them (which was usually the case), I'd sleep with them next to my pillow. It explains my obsession with shoes. Great giveaway.

I had an amazing pair of Nike running shoes (ha! I used to run) that lasted nearly forever. I have small feet so I purchased a pair of boys air sole Nikes. I could not wear those babies out. Boys athletic shoes are what I buy now because they last longer than adult shoes, as well as being usually cheaper. I want these shoes for my friend Valerie who works on her feet all day and has leg pain. She needs better shoes!

My navy blue Sperry's have been with me for 25 years. Bought them in college and I still have them. AMAZING when you love a pair of shoes...AND they hold up. I also had a pair of Timberland boots that I accidentally left at a family reunion out in Utah and never saw them again. I figured someone must have snatched those babies up and that would be the last I saw of them. :(

I have worn Timberland and love them. I must be very rough on shoes because they tend to wear out quickly, so I am always in the market for a good pair of shoes.

I have a pair of hiking boots I've had over 16 years, I don't know the brand anymore. I need new shoes because finally the hiking boots have small holes starting at the back of the ankle area, and the soles are getting pretty worn down. They're also not quite as comfortable as past years, probably because the sole is getting worn down. Good luck to all.

My Birkenstocks are my favorites, but I'm getting to an age where I figure some "sensible" shoes are in order. We have a shoe store that has a sale after Thanksgiving and I may treat myself this year.

I live in my Danskos. They have arch support that won't quit and they never die. And they're oh so stylin'. ;-)

Oh dear...why do I need a pair of shoes like these? I have a twelve year old that is non-stop. Run here, run there and then run back there again.
When my feet hurt from wearing uncomfortable shoes, I just collapse. Surely there is comfort and style in one shoe.

I have weird feet, I can remember one summer when I was about 12, I had the opportunity to have them operated on. I soooo wish now that instead of thinking of all summer in casts, how much better off I'd be when I got older. Can we just say do-over?? LOL I am glad to see alot of wide in the sizes. I clean a clinic and a boys and girls club for a living, and need comfort and durability in my footware.

I don't drive, so I have to walk everywhere that I need to go. These Timberland Renovas look sturdy and comfortable and yes, fashionable too!

I'm a Crocs kinda gal. Not the big honkin' clogs that gave me tendinitis in one ankle, but the sleeker slipper-looking ones. Oh,and Keens. Love my Keens. Anything that is lace-less (a throwback to having to chase toddlers, even though aforementioned toddlers are now in elementary school) and comfy are my friends.

My longest lasting brand of shoes are Tevas. I wore my first pair for over 5 years before seeing any kind of wear and tear. Unfortunately, I do not currently own any non-sandals, with the exception of my running shoes. These Timberlands are exactly the kind of shoe I need for work & home during the winter months. I'm a simple girl, I don't own a lot of shoes, I go with what works for me (comfort and durability).

I have really high arches too and these shoes look awesome for that. As to why do I need a new pair of shoes, well, I just had my second and besides the added weight of carrying another one around, I think that my feet have grown--which helps with the high-arch thing, but means my shoes don't fit well. :)

I have a pair of knee high leather boots that I received as a gift for Christmas in 2001. I've had them resoled, and they need it again, but they are my favorite shoes!

I stand a lot at work and could really use a pair of shoes that intended for those of us who don't get to sit.

I used to work in a hospital and went through many pairs of Easy Spirit shoes--very comfortable. These looks great and a lot dressier!!

Unfortunately I've never owned a pair of shoes that I found very comfortable, other than flip flops that is! I'd love to try a pair of these, maybe my search will be over!

I've had one pair of shoes in my life that I really thought were comfortable. Walked through Europe in them and then came home and continued to wear them on an almost daily basis for the next three years until they couldn't be re-soled any more.

I would love to have another pair of shoes that my feet can love.

I have two pairs of shoes I am never without: three-strap Birkenstocks for summer (leather, none of the new man made material stuff) and a pair of LLBeans camp mocs for spring/fall. Both fit my feet like gloves after a few wearings and are like extensions of myself! The only problem is that neither is good in rain or snow...so something as comfy as you describe that's able to stand up in bad weather would be really helpful!

karen said...

P.S. I got the Birks in 1999 and had them restored after seven years with new soles and corks. I'm on my second pair of camp mocs, having bought the first pair in 1987 and wearing them much more than often until 2002. LLBeans was going to replace them for me but I felt that fifteen years out of a pair of frequently worn shoes was more than fair for the price and bought my own replacement pair.

My daughter works in a hospital and they have these in white. I peeped and the Professional style would be just what she needs. Thanks for the chance to win these for her. Would make a great Christmas gift. Thanks ybutler@oppcatv.com

Working on my feet is tough. I stand a good portion of the day and have had back problems recently. So, a great pair of sturdy and nice-looking shoes would do wonders for my feet!

I've been wearing my first pair of Danskos almost every day for about 4 years... They're the only shoes I'll wear for substitute teaching and I had them shined up (the least I could do) to wear to my 20-year high school reunion!!! My only complaint is that I've turned my ankle in them, walking in gravel--I'd like to try another brand of fabulous shoes since these won't last forever--close though, I'll bet!

I have several pairs of shoes that are old friends: a pair of blue athletic shoes with red laces, a pair of red Wellies,a pair of black clogs and a pair of black timberland boots that I have had forever and a day. Good shoes rock1

I have very high arches as well. Five inch heels are perfect for me and my 'high arches', however, I am a homemaker and doing chores in them just doesn't work! The shoes I wear most are actually flip flops, which are OK for about 9 months out of the year. (I live in SW FL) When the temp falls into the 50's and 60's I'm sunk! I don't have a pair of'winter' shoes that are comfy, so the Pro-Renova's sound ideal. By the way,I refuse to toss the flip flops out, even though some of the foam is breaking off because I've looked for their replacement to no avail.

I really don't have a pair of shoes that I've lived with forever. I go through shoes like I do with kleenex. I'am constantly looking for a shoe that will last and keep up with 3-4 year olds that I teach pre-school too 5 days a week.

I love these and the bag. I have been known to wear out a pair or two of Clark's. I think my current pair are going on their 4th or 5th season. I am trying to decide if this is the year they need to retire.

My favorite shoes is Clarks, they are always very cofy. I would love to find another brand to add to my favorites and Timberland might just be it!

I entered on Saturday, but don't see the entry here. Please forgive me if it shows up somewhere else.

I just had shock wave therapy on my feet. I have very high arches and have yet to find just the right shoe. These sound like "the shoe" and are so very cute!

I live in tennis shoes because they are the closest thing I've found to comfortable, but would love these saucy new shoes! Thanks so much for the chance to win.

Have a great day!
