Not that much as you can see--just enough to make things look rather dingy like a Tim Burton movie. Here's a close up:
But still, it's our ash and we're darn proud of it and it's still there . . . somewhere under the fresh four inches of snow we got the next day.Is that groundhog DEAD?? I think he's totally abandoned us.

My husband still remembers vividly the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens. No one could drive anywhere for a long time because of the ash... school was closed for almost two weeks. And his momma was stuck in a hotel, out of town, while he partied it up with his dad at home. Glad y'all are okay!

Thank you for sharing the detail - we only see 'the larger picture' in the news. I was trying to picture in my mind what the ash fallout might actually look like.
I gasped when I saw the picture! yikes.
My daughter is so excited! Not only does she love volcanoes, she's also a big chinchilla fan and she thinks, "if they have a chinchilla, they should give him an ash bath".
