6582 Miles Down, 4800 Left To Go

I'm sitting in the Tampa International Airport hugging my laptop and loving the wireless service (what else am I going to do for the next four hours before the flight home?) I'm deeply touched/impressed anyone bothered to check my blog, knowing I've been gone for the past 9 days. Big thanks to Carinne for posting for me while I was exploring the jungles of Guatemala.

I'll keep posting and will try to get some pictures and stories up early next week, though do you realize the size of the laundry pile that awaits me upon my return? And while you're busy feeling so much sympathy for me (ha, ha, ha, yea I know you're really crying for me) just remember that my circadian rhythms are severely out of whack, knowing what time zone I'm in has been like a nightmare game of Chutes and Ladders, observe:

Anchorage to Salt Lake City: Go two hours forward
Salt Lake to Tampa: Go two more hours forward
Tampa to Key West: Go back one hour (Daylight Savings)
Key West to Belize: Go back one hour
Belize to Guatemala: Stay put, but don't get too comfortable
Guatemala to Mexico: What time is it? Why even wear a watch?
Mexico to Tampa: Go forward an hour
Tampa to Atlanta to Salt Lake City: Go forward two hours
Salt Lake City to Anchorage: Yup, two hours more

I'm certain it's daylight outside and that's about it. We land in Anchorage at midnight but who knows what that will feel like. And while you're busy feeling my pain, consider this short clip of Bannister Cay, Belize where we were enjoying our Halloween. Talk about Trick or Treats.

Oh you poor, poor girl. ;) Hey, I have a mountain of laundry and never got to leave home, go figure.

Glad to have you back and I can't wait to see pics! :)

Hope you had a great time! Was it worth the post-auction panic?!?

Okay -- after seeing that clip, I SOOO don't feel sorry for you.

I do love living vicariously, though. Are more clips coming soon?
