Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Tiffany's

How often does a woman get a gift from Tiffany's?

You know I've heard they sell these boxes for $10 on Ebay because EVERYONE loves the blue box. I'd been saving it in my little private drawer--no particular reason other than it's my Tiffany box.

Spencer didn't know this when he found the "perfect place to put the really cool cocoon he found." Notice his name spelled nicely across the top? Air holes in the sides and everything.

Sigh. It's a good thing I love him so much. That caterpillar has nice digs.

sigh! Well, maybe someone will present you with a new "blue box" for Christmas!

Thanks for coming by my blog. I am glad to find yours again.

Sigh indeed. I'll try to find a better hiding spot if I ever get one!

Ohhhh dear. Well, yes, the caterpillar/moth does have a nice place doesn't he.

You can reuse the box, once your tenant moves out, right? Hope so!

You know....

Some people on EBay might pay a pretty penny for that. You could market it as a Tiffany Bug Box or offer the cocoon up as a "delicate trinket."

Mother love is without bounds! I have a Tiffany bag that I got a shower gift in and I use it to store my wrapping paper in. I just love the color of it so much. I actually think I like the bag more than the gift that came in it. It was a white platter. Lovely but no more lovely than a platter from Linens N Things.

I can't believe they actually sell the empty box for $10? What a racket!! Here's hoping Santa will bring you more than a Tiffany box!

I love Tiffany Box Blue. It's on everything in my house. I tried to go and by a telephone dialer-thingy (like in Breakfast at Tiffany's) last time I was in Dallas. But they don't sell them anymore. Sigh.
Oh, well - maybe this will be a good excuse for a new box : )
PS- I used your Advent candle idea for a kid's party and everyone loved it!!

I can imagine you had to close your eyes and take a deep breath before anything else when you saw that. I hope you get a replacement soon!

My Godmother gave us a Tiffany gift when I got married and I'm thankful she included the shopping bag!

It's Tiffany's fault for making them caterpillar sized. I have always wanted to go in & buy just the box, I'll have to pick up an extra for caterpillar homes

Oh my gosh! That is hilarious! Thanks for the laugh. I am sorry it was at the expense of your beautiful Tiffany box.
