Look carefully. Look VERY carefully at my youngest child. See that rather ominous purple hue circling her beautiful baby blues? She was given a plastic princess locket that had purple lip gloss in it (by her grandmother of course) but wasn't content with mere lip application. She walked by me and I did a double take."Uh, Lillian, are you wearing your lip gloss on your eyes?"
(Proudly fluttering her eyes) "Yup. Don't I look pretty?"
Snort. I'm going to have to stop laughing before I can answer that one. Rather gives her that emaciated-heroine-addict-runway-model look that's all the rage doesn't it?

Hehe....Kenzie does the same thing but she is getting better about it and only puts in on upper eye lids now....

You know, I can remember doing something similar when I was a kid.
Julia has only tried to apply something like eye make-up once - black marker. Luckily it was washable.
My daughter got the same thing and I would find it all over her face. She looked like a clown. Word to the wise: she left it in a pocket last week and now everything in our laundry is spotted with purple and it is very hard to get out
Oh my goodness! My 4 year old daughter did the same thing. That is classic. I'll hafta dig out her picture. I have one of she and my niece with BLUE eyes...ALL the way around. It was too funny.

I'm not looking forward to the makeup age..they are starting earlier than they used too huh?
I can so relate. I have three girls and have spent countless bathtimes scrubbing lipgloss as well as my own make-up off of eyes (why is it always the eyes?) are various other body parts. Just today, while I was enjoying a rare nap, they woke me up to show proudly their noses which they had painted blue, with oil paint!
