TheaC Photography Giveaway

Namaste Hands by Thea CoughlinWhen I saw photographer Thea Coughlin's work I was a bit jealous--I've always wanted to be able to handle a camera, it's right at the top of my list of things to learn before I die--and she does it so well.

Some of her still lifes feel as personal as portraits, with an orchid or rose staring intimately at the camera or two buds acting out a family drama within the frame. And then there are her titles: "Bounty," "Lecture," "Two Friends," "Supermodel" and "Path" that give her photos another layer of interest.

Bounty by Thea CoughlinYes, I'm jealous, she obviously has moved past the click-and-shoot phase in which I eternally linger. But besides her beautiful photographs, as I was wandering around her site admiring the view I noticed that she has a second store where she sells custom made jewelry.

At Monarch Designs there are pendants, earrings and rings that can be personalized with either one of her photos or one of your own choosing from your own personal gallery. The sterling silver pendant pictured below is only one of the lovely examples she sells and each item is both simple and classic in design.

For today's giveaway I'm honored to present one matted 8x8 OR 8x10 photograph of your choice from the Coughlin gallery--and with the variety and beauty of the subject matter it's guaranteed you'll find something that will fit perfectly into your home or office (and the prices are very reasonable). Thank you TheaC Photography!

Her work is beautiful. I enjoy the nature photos, some much like my own daughter's work. Then I found her "breakfast" and "coffee" series. Fun! She is very, very talented.

Her photographs are really amazing. I especially like some of the ones with trees in them, such as Path or Reflect. Thanks for sharing!

How pretty! I was wondering though...don't you have to go to the ENTRY FORM PAGE to enter? Why do so many people leave a comment here to enter? Am I missing something?

Kris--some people are of course just leaving a comment (which I'm sure you can tell) but others don't read the directions properly I'm afraid.

And as a note, if you leave a comment as your entry it's not included, I go strictly with the entries submitted through the giveaway entry form. Sorry--it's just too confusing to do it any other way, how am I to know if they entered using the form and through a comment? There's no easy way to check them against each other.

Yeah, so there! I'm just commenting to well...comment.

Is there even a way to close comments on just the current post?

And wow, to her itty bitty photo pendants!

Those photo pendants would make for lovely Christmas tree ornaments.

I'm jealous of good photographers too. I'd love to take photos like that, but I've still got my point and shoot. I'm pretty happy with it.
