Have you got an apron? I don't mean one of those "Kiss the Cook" varieties, I mean a real apron--one that doesn't just protect your clothing but makes a fashion statement.
Saucy Frocks is a new Etsy shop that is all over the HUGE apron craze sweeping kitchens throughout the world--aprons are back and they're hipper than ever in bright bold retro prints (I think my Grandmother had a tablecloth from the same blue print you see at the right--I love it!).
These aprons are meant to be seen and not hid, they're lovely statements that pay tribute to the time when hostesses wore thick, flouncy slips and pumps. They're really it.
My favorite is the Green Goddess apron, I can see me fixing up that Hamburger Helper and feeling oh-so-elegant. It's the apron that goes with pearls.
Saucy Frocks is celebrating by offering its best-selling Saucy Dots apron to a random winner here at Scribbit. Hot pink with black dots--if that doesn't say "Kiss the Cook" I don't know what will!
Here's how to win:
Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.
This giveaway is open to all readers so good luck!

Apron? No. I think it could be worn out - with suitable clothing underneath of course.
