Does My Voice Really Sound Like That??

You'd never believe I was so nervous I thought I'd be sick--I never thought it would come off looking so calm!

Janice and Susan were wonderful, and thanks to them I now know what I want for Christmas: my very own Make-up Artist (and as my sister nicely pointed out--apparently I do actually need an artist, a project like that requires the professionals).

wow! so professional!

cool stuff to see everyone for real.

It's funny because we were all running around--I was nervous, Janice and Susan were rather frantic about the schedule and the crew was trying to cool the room down from the hot lights and my roomate was just wondering what was all going on. Turned out so slick and smooth!

You look and sound fabulous! I am, as ever, in awe of the fact that you've posted every day for so long. And quality posts! I started blogging in 2006 with the same goal and I couldn't do it. Congratulations to you!

Yeah! What a star you are. I completely relate to 'nerves' but you certainly seemed as cool as a cucumber to me. [must be all the ice round your way]
Cheers

Oh and I kept rubbing my feet together nervously or twitching so that my necklace would hit my mic and they had to do a couple retakes because of it. Yes, I'm a pro at this stuff.

I thought it turned out great. It is nice to put voices and faces to the sites I visit everyday. Great job!

You look great! I'm one of the ones who show up looking for stories about living in Alaska, by the way...

I always love hearing a voice to go with the face. Now every time I read a post it will be with your voice running through my head. They had a make-up artist to help? So glad you mentioned that. I was thinking how unfair it was that you all looked so beautiful while I sit here looking like well.....

September 2006? You are a dynamo.

(And you look and sound lovely too, making you a triple threat.)

Great interview.

You look fabulous dahling! And somehow just like I had pictured you :) Very cool!

That was SO GREAT! My only complaint is that it was too short. I think you sound fine- just like I thought you would. I am really enjoying these videos at 5minutesformom and I'm so glad they interviewed you.

The interview is great! You definitely look calm, beautiful and wonderful. Of course, that really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone... you are all of those things and more!

Where would you store your professional make-up artist? Under the bathroom sink? ;-)

Laura said...

You did awesome, I would never have thought you were nervous. You looked like a professional. I too love "meeting" the person behind the blog.

You did a fabulous job. In my opinion the makeup artist only complimented what was there and you pretty much look like that in person when you do your own makeup. She's just good at getting it to look good under those lights!

You were articulate, informed and I think the interview turned out really well.

P.S. Yup. Your voice sounds like that and it's a really nice one at that.

You're the nicest ever Loralee--you made BlogHer so fun!

Is BlogHer for anybody? If so, how does one register for it?

A lot of people recognize my name. I'm assuming you meant my family name? Most of the time, I'm not related to the Cheneys they know. But my husband's family is from Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming, the Jackson Hole area.

Very cool! But I must say, you did look a teensy bit nervous at the beginning! I think I would have passed out!

I hate hearing myself on tape, I think I sound totally ridiculous.

Michelle - you are famous !!!!!

You look great and sound just fine. I would have babbled incoherently! LOL

It is wonderful to actually see you animated rather than via photos and listen to how you keep up with posting and juggling the schedule of your lovely family.

I will post Lillian's finished painting in a couple of days and hope that you like it.

All the best,

Enzie
