You'd never believe I was so nervous I thought I'd be sick--I never thought it would come off looking so calm!
Janice and Susan were wonderful, and thanks to them I now know what I want for Christmas: my very own Make-up Artist (and as my sister nicely pointed out--apparently I do actually need an artist, a project like that requires the professionals).
It's funny because we were all running around--I was nervous, Janice and Susan were rather frantic about the schedule and the crew was trying to cool the room down from the hot lights and my roomate was just wondering what was all going on. Turned out so slick and smooth!
You look and sound fabulous! I am, as ever, in awe of the fact that you've posted every day for so long. And quality posts! I started blogging in 2006 with the same goal and I couldn't do it. Congratulations to you!
Yeah! What a star you are. I completely relate to 'nerves' but you certainly seemed as cool as a cucumber to me. [must be all the ice round your way] Cheers
Oh and I kept rubbing my feet together nervously or twitching so that my necklace would hit my mic and they had to do a couple retakes because of it. Yes, I'm a pro at this stuff.
I thought you were just lovely on camera and in person. It was such a pleasure to meet you and I do hope that next time we get more time to actually talk!
I always love hearing a voice to go with the face. Now every time I read a post it will be with your voice running through my head. They had a make-up artist to help? So glad you mentioned that. I was thinking how unfair it was that you all looked so beautiful while I sit here looking like well.....
That was SO GREAT! My only complaint is that it was too short. I think you sound fine- just like I thought you would. I am really enjoying these videos at 5minutesformom and I'm so glad they interviewed you.
The interview is great! You definitely look calm, beautiful and wonderful. Of course, that really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone... you are all of those things and more!
Where would you store your professional make-up artist? Under the bathroom sink? ;-)
You did a fabulous job. In my opinion the makeup artist only complimented what was there and you pretty much look like that in person when you do your own makeup. She's just good at getting it to look good under those lights!
You were articulate, informed and I think the interview turned out really well.
P.S. Yup. Your voice sounds like that and it's a really nice one at that.
Michelle, you came across as very articulate and your voice sounds just fine. It's always weird hearing how we sound on tape! Well done. Now, to be organised to get posts ready 1-2 weeks in advance!
You look so calm, approachable and collected. It's no wonder you are so loved in the bloggy universe. Thanks for letting us know about the makeup. Now I don't feel so plain and unadorned.
Is BlogHer for anybody? If so, how does one register for it?
A lot of people recognize my name. I'm assuming you meant my family name? Most of the time, I'm not related to the Cheneys they know. But my husband's family is from Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming, the Jackson Hole area.
Great job, I've been looking forward to seeing this interview & here it is, the day I'm catching up on my reading :) Great posts the past few days...I'm sad I missed the weekend giveaway, those lil guys are cute! Oh, and thanks to you I now have the bottle/labotomy song going through my head - long live Dr Demento!!
Don't know what your sister's talking about. You look GREAT to me! With the minimal makeup you're wearing in the video, just realize you're a natural beauty! What more do you need?
I really enjoyed the interview, Michelle. I liked your point about different types of posts to appeal to different readers. And I just have to say, your make-up looked fab! :)
awesome!! wow, you look great! and yes, so composed!!
funny, you look and speak just like i thought you would! that's a testament to your writing, so honest that it gives everyone such a good picture of you who you really are behind the computer!!
You were so cool, Michelle! Great interview. I hope you will keep up the blog much longer than three years. When my husband works late I love to check out your posts.
What a fun video to watch, now I can picture you talking when your writing. I had no idea blogging could be such an involved and committed adventure. Your writing style is so fun, I'm always interested in the first sentence. Thanks for what you contribute about Alaska, I miss it!
You look great and sound just fine. I would have babbled incoherently! LOL
It is wonderful to actually see you animated rather than via photos and listen to how you keep up with posting and juggling the schedule of your lovely family.
I will post Lillian's finished painting in a couple of days and hope that you like it.
Michelle~ you are so beautiful and poised...I seriously doubt that you need an artist. :)
Now I feel like I know you even better! How fun. Your blog is truly a marvel. I love it. You know, I really like all the different "focuses" and have used your tips and recipes and smiled at your wit and humor. Thanks for being so dedicated!
Hi Michelle You look wonderful and what a great interview. I have really enjoyed certain parts of your Blog even though I am not a MOM, and you write about totally different things to my world. Thank-you for making the Blogging world a better place and for sharing of yourself so freely. Keep up the excellent and high quality professional content. Kindest Regards Patricia
