Happy New Year!

Yup, I'm checking out again for a couple days (what a slacker, huh?) It's nearly New Year's eve and that means staying up way too late, eating way too much and doing so many things besides blogging. If you're wondering what we'll be consuming you can see them here:

Garlicky Baked Fries
Pizza in a Bite
Cheese Bites
Diablo Verde Shakes
Bittersweet Chocolate Caramel Cracker Cookies

Yes, we're fried food junkies.

I figure you'd welcome a bit of a break, right? But do not despair, rest assured I'll be back on Saturday with another giveaway, this time it's a scrapbooking treat (retail value $75) followed by more posts Sunday and next week (I'm already working on the line up if you don't believe me).

But for now, I'll share one of my favorite clips that still cracks me up. If you go to YouTube there's a whole series by the same production crew and you can find your day's allotment of laughs there.

Hope you have a wonderful New Year, see you January 2nd!

i am really curious about motherhood in Alaska!! My husband wants to bring us all up there. Is it ever warm? Whats it like raising kids there?

As I was sitting here laughing quietly, my husband asks, "What's so funny." He loves a good laugh so he wanted in. Then, my daughter wokeup and was curious too. This video was fitting since just last night we had a conversion about who was more powerful Superman or Batman. Most of us voted on Superman but my 8 year old daughter was fully supporting Batman. Her reasoning was he was smarter and had a gardget for every situation.

It doesn't matter who was right or wrong this video gave us all an extended chuckle on the whole topic. Thanks for sharing. Stay warm and enjoy your time off, Michelle. Happy New Year!

Ever since I was a kid, I have said the same thing- Superman is an actual superhero,. Batman has no powers, just gadgets. Great video!

Awesome video! Love it!

We've been doing some serious over-eating here, too. What on earth do I do with the gigantic gift bag full of candy?

Michelle,

How funny! I never noticed how the criminals inform the super heroes of their crimes before until I watched this and then thought about it.

Crazy but true no matter how you look at it.

Batman has to have a super utility belt he has no real super powers.

Great video. How often do you see Superman and Batman relaxing shooting the sh**t after fighting crime? Batman is great, but he can't hold a candle to superman's powers.
