Yay for you! Congratulations and well wishes. I love the "Florida" story. Tell David it was almost 100 degrees here today and he certainly doesn't want to send his daddy here right now!
ReplyDeleteWow, Michelle, that is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteCograts Michelle - and thanks for the intro!!
ReplyDeleteHooray Michelle! Many congrats!!
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for posting the picture, too. Now I can put a proper face to the name, instead of the profile pic of your avatar :-)
PS - HAHAHAHAHA!! I just read the Florida story! Oh my goodness (shaking head). Well, if it's any consolation, when Hannah was in the first grade, they were required to write and illustrate a short story based on something they had done over the weekend. When the teacher handed me Hannah's work at her parent/teacher conference she said, "You sure do have a great time as a family!" The sad thing is, Hannah had MADE UP almost all of her stories. I guess Hannah was just too embarrassed to admit how truly boring we are!
ReplyDeleteAh. I have been waiting for this link!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations scribbit. It is recognition fully deserved!
Well done you!
And by the way, I love your voice!
Congratulations! You certainly deserve it. And it was a treat to hear your read a portion of your winning entry.
ReplyDeleteCould have done with that six months ago when I first started blogging [like a little map for beginners!]
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on the 'print' version.
Cheers
Michelle, looks like that 3 year plan Andrew keeps you on is paying off. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. So nice to see all your hard work bearing fruit. It gives the rest of us hope.
ReplyDeleteAwesome...Congratulations Michelle...You deserve it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a wonderful honor.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the honours. I don't think your voive sounds bad but I know what you mean because I dread hearing mine recorded, it sounds so whiney to me. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Anyone can write a blog, but not everyone does it well. I'm not local, but I'm loyal. :) Way to go!
ReplyDeleteWell deserved, congratulations.
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! Hope this gets you rethinking about submitting some of your creative writing.

ReplyDeleteAs for David's story...well, he must be a pretty good storyteller to hook his teacher like that. ; )
Yeah congratulations Scribbit!
ReplyDeleteWell done Michelle. You're an inspiration to me.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being featured in print! LOVED the story, all mothers will be able to identify with this one, but you tell it so well.

ReplyDeleteWow, that is so great! I am so happy for your success!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You deserve the recognition.
ReplyDeleteFirst, congrats on the contest! Second, that story is HI-larious. And I have a similar one.
ReplyDeleteI went to "back to school" night and MY David's teacher mentioned casually that it must have been neat to live in Spain.
Um. Come again?
Yes, David had told her that he speaks Spanish and had lived in Spain. WTH?
I wasn't nearly as creative as you about approaching him with it, though! Too funny.
Congrats!!!! Well deserved!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. Iam not surprised are the winner. I adore you simple writing skills. may be someday you should attempt to publish book(s)..!!
ReplyDeleteA belated congratulations! I enjoyed hearing you read your Florida piece. You sound like you look ... isn't that a strange thing to say? I guess what I mean is - you remind me, physically, of the lead actress on Men in Trees - and you sound a little like her too. So it all fits, because it's what my brain expected to hear.
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, way to go! And I'm looking forward to your redesign.
Grace is 16?! Wow, time does fly!
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog! Great recipes, stories, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'll come back again and browse some more soon:) I was looking for a subscribe/follow button, but couldn't find one:(
I just got done with your very awesome ebook. Thanks so much for putting that together for all of us novice mommy bloggers! You're great!
