YogaGoat Saturday Giveaway

Swirling Fish Platter by YogaGoatI thought I was the first to find YogaGoat Pottery and have been excited for the last six weeks in thinking about this giveaway. Amanda Ryznar's pottery is delicate, flowing, artistic and so original, yet the kind of pieces that would be equally at home on the table or on a pedestal under glass. But I haven't been the only one noticing her, I've seen YogaGoat popping up all over the place and looking at her work it's easy to see why.

Reversible Candle Holders by YogaGoatThe first item I saw in her shop was the flared serving bowl pictured at right but then I clicked on the next item and fell in love with that too, then the next and the next until I realized there wasn't anything there I didn't like.

I love the reversible candle holders (pictured at top, left) which are her own design and can hold small tapers on one end and pillar candles on the other. I love the wedding platter which would make the perfect gift, and the flared serving bowl with the starfish design, and the lime and periwinkle lotus vase and the cheeky porcelain fortune cookies . . . I could go on and on. You'll have to go browse for yourself either at her Etsy shop or at her website because I haven't even got to her jewelry and mugs and tumblers yet.

A big thank you to YogaGoat for offering as this week's giveaway item the blue flared serving bowl you see pictured above which I'll be giving away to one lucky reader. It is six inches in diameter, is food safe and comes wired for hanging so you can use it at your next party or display it on your wall. If however, you don't win this beautiful dish Amanda has a large gallery with a wide range of pieces--the holidays are coming!

Here's how to win:

Before 12 am Monday go to the giveaway entry form on this page and enter your name and email. I will pick one of the names at random, contact the winner via their email and publish the winner's first name and home town in next Tuesday's post. See the bottom of the entry form for more details.

I'm sorry, but this giveaway is open to those with a U.S. address only.

Breakables are at risk at my house but I still love pottery and most forms of fine glass, pottery-china and art glass items.

I love it when you have a pottery giveaway. I love pottery, but I also like being introduced to new artists that I might otherwise not have known about.

I love blue and white pottery! What lovely work those potters so. I wish I was talented in the pottery area, but I guess we can't be talented in everything. Perhaps I shall be lucky enough to win one.

I wish I was as consistent with my blog as you are. I love reading about your life in Alaska!
