Warning Lables

Almond Roca Warning LableThe only way I can control myself with these tasties is with a visual reminder. And it helps--most of the time.

That's clever but does it work? :) Must. gain. self. control.

I'm sure I'd be able to find justification for breaking the rules! I always do!

Mary@notbefore7 said...

Not so sure that would help me at all...you do mean one an hour, right?

Sandee said...

Oh I love those too. It's hard to just eat one. One can maybe. Have a great WW. :)

More proof that you must actually have some kind of self-control.

I can guarantee that wouldn't work for me. I'd just get mad at myself and eat two just to spite me.

When my husband was young his mother had to hide things from the kids, She'd put the goodies in a tin and on the top she wrote...Stay Out and this means you Craig ! She still has that tin to this day !

Sometimes ya just need to treat yourself a little :) Enjoy them!

Yuck! Chuck em in the bin right now! Nasty sickly sweet teeth breaking torturers. Pass the spinach please!
Cheers

I have my weekly official weigh-in tomorrow morning. There's every indication that it may signal I need to start warning myself in writing. ;)

I like to empty the can and congratulate myself on a job well done! I admire your self-control!

No joke, pure genius.

Although I don't know if I'd obey myself when it comes to Almond Roca...

I *love* almond roca!! The only thing that might convince me to take just one piece would be to paste a picture of a big butt on the can.

Irene said...

Yeah, that would NOT work with me. But it is a good idea!

Thea @ It's Me Vs. Me said...

LOL! That would so not work for me. I would just have one...every time I passed the tin.

Lara Neves said...

Wouldn't work for me either. Those things are heavenly.

One year, at our family white elephant exchange, I thought I hit the jackpot when I won a tin of almond rocha.

Until I unwrapped one and found it was a baby carrot. They all were. :)

I gave that to a new neighbor who just moved in and it was a hit! It's funny that's on my list of things to buy when I go to BJ's today. I'll be thinking of you Michele!

On those, such a warning would work. On British chocolate? Now ay.

I don't know how well this would work for me :) !!

That wouldn't work for me. I'd have to nail it shut! Yum. :)

Anonymous said...

I'd take it to mean "only 1 CAN." :)

I do not allow myself to go near those things anymore. My addiction is long lived. When I was a Campfire girl in Edmonds, WA (over a half century ago), our troop leader took us on a fieldtrip to the Almond Roca factory in Tacoma. I was hooked for life.

LOL at that. Good idea though ;)
